Camp Gilead

Camp Gilead

Bible Clubs

After School Bible Clubs are one of the founding activities of the CBM Camp Gilead ministry.  We are pleased to be able to continue to offer them today.  Essentially, Bible clubs allow us to partner with local churches while discipling kids.

What we offer:  We pick up your child from school one day a week.  We have game time (dodgeball, kickball, 4 square, etc.), snack time, and lesson time (character-building Bible lesson and Bible memory).  These are staffed by Camp Gilead trained and approved volunteers.  After the Bible Club, your child can be transported home or picked up by you at the local church.

The general time of a Bible Club is from 3-5 pm, depending on the school.  Bible Clubs occur once a week and continue with the school calendar.  There is no cost involved. Once a month we will try to have a Camp Gilead activity, where we will go to our campsite for the club rather than the church.  This is a way the children can get a glimpse of what it would be like to be a summer camper.  Bible Clubbers would receive Bible Memory discounts and priority scholarship money to attend our summer camp.
